A Thought On Alt Fire Weapons.

I've been thinking about the way alt fire weapons (ones like the Quanta, not like the Penta which use the secondary fire simply for detonation) use large amounts of ammo from the main pool for there secondary fire, and thought would it be better for weapons that have secondary fire to have two seperate ammo pools? (don't panic, they would still gain ammo for both pools from the existing ammo packs they use).

This would give more reason to use both primary and secondary fire on all weapons, and would make them easier to balance the ammo pool for each weapon instead of having to balance it against the drain of the alt fire.

Taking the Buzlok for example, a rifle that is clearly influenced by this weapon:

The Bullseye is a weapon that's secondary fire tags an enemy which the primary fire homes in on, same as the Buzlok. The one thing that the Buzlok is let down by is that the tags take up 10 ammo of 75 in the magazine, so should you miss you lose out on a lot of ammo to use against your enemies. What if the Buzlok had a 55 round magazine and 12 tags by default? (the tags being tied solely to a max ammo pool rather than a magazine)

Something to consider and discuss.
