Lag

My game lags whenever I'm around other players and or big group of AI's and or specific mobs like the "flying mob that shoots out a lightning looking thing to boost his allies" I have my settings on low and my comp specs are higher than the minimum if not double or tripple. 
Can anyone recommend something to help with the lag such as disabling certain graphic settings? Any help would be much appreciated, thanks. :)

 

Almost forgot, these are my specs:

-Processor: I3 3.3ghz (Tripple core)

-Ram: 6Gigs

-Video Card: AMD Radeon HD 7450

Are you sure it's fps lag? It might be client hosting lag. Does this occur when your solo?

I unchecked all shadow/lighting effects and seems to be working fine in solo mode now, going to try and play online now.. hopefully it wont lag anymore. :)

Its the same thing with me. When I play solo there no Fps problems, but when I'm online it lags like poop.

all the i3 cpus got 2 cores and 4 threads (it acts like a quad core)

I got a I2500k with HD 7970 with 8Gbs of Ram and I generally lag when playing online but solo its super smooth so its definitely something about hosting or P2P that the issue resides at.

It's because of the vast majority of ISPs giving terrible beeping upload speeds and distance can be an issue also
