You get more Plat out of it, as well as a nice new sword as well as a say in important game decisions in the Design Council forum board, and a new chat room in-game. You even get gold text. Besides, Thunderbolt isn't all that great anyway. Sure, it's NICE, but a lot of mods people don't need fit that description. I personally don't like it. It just sits there in my collection.
