Are Melee Marcos Allowed?

Are melee Marcos allowed? Things like having a toggle-able valkyr's spin attack Marco, or stance combos

Simple key bindings - yes

Macro - no

Macros are allowed, but 'automation' is not, and DE has some strange definitions of automation, so I'd stay well away from things that could cause a ban.

 

Keeping it simple;

 

A macro spamming your attack key so you can keep up with fast weapons - totally okay

A macro triggering a slide attack with crouch+melee - probably okay, but risky, I wouldn't include pauses/delays

A macro ensuring you always get a complex attack with a stance - probably bannable; mostly the inserting of a 'hold'

 

To use actual examples, I've never heard of anyone banned for a click macro, or even a auto-reload macro (for the Vectis), but I have heard of people being banned for an auto-cipher macro for grineer ciphers, as it's automation.

 

Basically, relieving repetitive stress is fine (repeated button mashing, etc) while automation is the key-word for a ban - I'd stay away from anything timed, ie holds and pauses in the macro.

So e spam is okay? because i have a prisma skana with quickening + fury + berserker (all maxed) + warcry and the speed is faster then i can mash

E-spam is absolutely okay; it and repetitive clicking are the only things I've seen a DE staff explicitly say is allowed.
