Advice On Focus Farming?

So, I thought from the start that focus farming was going to be a kinda long process, but then they introduced the cap and I heard people complaining about said cap. I saw it was 75k, and wondered how in the hell anyone can reach that in a day.

 

Is there something im not doing correctly here, or did I put my lense on the wrong thing? I put it on my Vauban.

 

What are people doing to make good amounts of Focus? I did a few high levels, but earned around 2k at most

You generate focus from personal affinity gained, so a dps frame will generate several multiples of what a support/cc frame can manage.

 

It's currently possible to hit the cap in 2 matchs on draco on a saryn, if you can keep energy levels high enough, I'd imagine it's similar for other dps frames, my EV feeding trin team mate makes about 5k on the same 2 matches, so it's a problem if your support players don't have a dps frame set up to rotate farms.

You basically need to kill as much as possible with a thing installed on your frame/weapon, so Vauban is not that good of a candidate for focus farm. I'm sorry, but u kind a wasted a lens. I suggest u do a bit of testing and see if enemies caught in vortex and their kills count towards focus gain, otherwise its either tesla grenade spam for you or finding another lens and installing it on damaging/killing frames. 

 

 

Also, u don't really have to kill high lvl content, hordes of low lvls work perfectly fine as well ^_^
