Focus Lense Placement

These new focus lenses remind me of the arcanes with a large exception. Both arcanes and lenses it stays with whatever item you put it on, and you can stack them to make a greater arcane/lense. With arcanes they are placed on accessories allowing the player to use any equipment and just slap on the accessorie(s). However lenses are placed on your equipment, meaning to gain exp for your focus you have to use an exact weapon/frame. This restricts the player's choices to what they bring into a mission.

I'm seeing many players in region chat who just placed the lense on anything and now regret it deeply.

 

What I'm suggesting is instead of placing the lense(s) on our equipment perhaps they could be placed on our new tenno person, operator, annoying-talking-thing/not ordis. That way we could use any equipment we wanted to, all your level 30 items in your arsenal would gain exp until the cap is met. Upon visiting teen-tenno-operator we could cycle the lenses to use a different focus.
