Can't Alt Tab Anymore And Game Shortcut Disappeared

I can't Alt tab out of the game anymore since update 18. When I alt tab out of the game I get a black screen, so I go to my task managar, but the game isn't there anymore, so it has shut down from itself. Today when I did alt tab again the short cut (icon) of the game dissapeared from my desktop background.

Games crashing when alt tabbing is normal enough if you don't have a high end PC just play in borderless windowed it's easier as for Icons have you tried refreshing your desktop can't really see why alt tabbing would have any effect at all on that

I have the same problem, the game is still running after I alt tab but it's like disappeared

Yes, this is fairly frustrating... I tend to multitask a lot in between the missions and it is annoying having ot end the task and restart the game every time.

 

And no I do not prefer windowed mode because it costs me performance.

Bumping this. 

 

Before ~U18 Windowed mode would just force itself to the top. The only thing visible is the Task Bar, but no matter what program I opened, tried to open, or tried to alt+tab to,  warframe would just hi-jack the front.

 

after U18 Full Screen crashes half of the time you Alt+Tab out.

The other half of the time, you would be on your desktop/internet, and your Warframe Task will be up. Clicking it on the task bar starts playing the sounds, allows you to shoot, ETC, however you can't see anything but your desktop/browser/whatever you had opened.

 

The game is unplayable unless you completely ignore alt+tabbing.
