Should I go for 3 level of first skill asap or try to build something else? 

What direction would you recommend to go, up down, left or right? 

Any advice is welcome.

So passives really work as advertised? After initial use, all three remain active throughout mission?

 

My first instinct was to activate gaze mastery, that reduces cooldown time.

 

So I should not try to level phoneix gaze to lvl 3? Too expensive?

As I test it more no some things don't appear to work unless it's a obnoxiously low proc chance.

Meteor doesn't appear to function.

Setting them on fire is a 5% chance first rank which is not worth the focus.

Leaving a trail of fire doesn't appear to work.

Split beam works!

Tested the passives, they add slash/puncture/impact damage based on your total weapon damage, work with wukong first and fourth ability so i assume it works with excal too

And yes you can deal slash proc with your lanka.

i went with the "Phoenix Gaze Mastery" (reduce cool down) and Chimera Breath (tri beam ) i would maybe "focus" (pun lol) on trying to get the timer lower but its quite expensive to do so so but i would assume it would be well worth in the end at max rank of 60secs reduction keep in mind every ability you use adds on the total counter of time until you could use your ability you can see it above the first ability 180 secs (3 mins)
