ThisCost200Plat
Good afternoon, Tenno. Anyone familiar with Amazon's Echo's Skills? I'm curios if anyone had considered making or is working on a Warframe Skills for Echo. Here's a link on how to get started: https://developer.amazon.com/public/solutions/alexa/alexa-skills-kit/getting-started-guide I was thinking about developing a Warframe Skills for Echo to get updates on what events/missions are available. I don't know very much about programming, but I do know how to point something to a RSS feed. Something like, "Alexa, tell Ordis to tell me about the active alerts?" or "Alexa, tell Ordis to tell me about the active events?" Where it would then tell you what alert is active, what the reward was, and how much time is left. Similarly, it would tell you the name of the event and when it expires. What do you guys think? The only hangups I can think are programming Alexa to only talk about active alerts, and not all alerts/invasions/etc. Here's the RSS feed: http://content.warframe.com/dynamic/rss.php At first it might just be reading the wf:expiry date verbatim, but my goal is to have it calculate from the present time from the expiration time and give the listener an expiration time in minutes/hours. "Expires in 58 minutes." sort of thing, instead of "Expires, Tue, 05 Jan 2016 18:00:00." Any tips on how to program that calculation in java? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
