Unstuck Button, Useful Debug, Useful Reporting Tool.

So based on the current ongoing live stream here are few thoughts on a button to get yourself unstuck from level flaws.

 

Scott brought up a good point that not having the button helps get players to go on to the forums and report the bug. And that having a quick out means they'll be less likely.

 

To that I would say have the Unstuck Button generate a Screen Shot and XYZ location value that would be easy to upload to the Support system as an attachment or just as PNG image to post on the forum.

 

To prevent abuse and say leaping out of combat, add in a limiter based on standing still for say 60 to 80 seconds or "falling" for that amount of time.

 

To that it would be nice if the images were not BMPs and access to the screen shot folder was easier. Maybe a file link from inside the Launcher.

 

While we are still in this Beta phase giving us such a tool would help speed up identifying areas. Especially those areas that will make PS4 players rage quit.

I do agree, as it was the loss of a Despair Blueprint (oh the irony) that prompted me to ask that question.
