I was wondering, is it against the rules to have a macro type in chat for you?

 

Like in clan chat, sending reminders to members on what needs donations, and reminding them to recruit more members.

 

And in Trade or recruiting, if its against the rules to use one there

As long as its not spamming, I don't see why not.

On clan you can use the default system, that allows you to add one message to the clan.

 

 

As for macros, as long as, it's not a 3rd party software like AHK. If it's hardware like Nostromo and G  keybinding keyboard there should be a problem.

 

I use the later one and i haven't had any issue, since it doesn't make any automatic movements, just some more specific inputs, like Bullet Jump in one key press.

 

And since it's hardware, i can't be forbidden to use the equipment i have nor can they prove i do use it

There's a lot of people using it already, not sure if it's allowed or not tho'
