Hopefully if this thread doesn't saturate with other off topic stuff, I'll keep updating it with stuff that goes down. Entry 1 (26/1/16) >So yesterday was the Indian Republic day. >Friends forced me awake at an ungodly hour and had me accompany them to the flag hoisting ceremony. >I arrived at the place 2 hours before the thing starts. >one person there, looks like the march past guy, but uniform looks like he stole it from someone,several sizes larger than him >Marchpastman does this strange routine where he marches 2 feet then takes a step diagonally backwards and then turns about 20 degrees, pretends he didn't see the flag there,acts surprised and salutes. >Literally does this routine over 20 times for the next hour and a half. >The rest of the marchers arrive >2 of my classmates arrive >apparently The college hired a group of Professional bharatnatyam https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bharata_Natyam dancers. >They walk by us, into the cafeteria >Had the ill fortune of looking at the general direction of where their feet were(they were wearing bell thing on their legs) >Those weren't cracked heels,those were tectonic ravines. >I'm pretty sure that if i'd looked at it longer, i'd have seen Aron Ralston tickle his pickle with a boulder over his other arm there. >Shortly after, all the others arrive. >the march past commences >masrchpastman is MIA >I have no idea who he was and why he was doing that routene earlier but he apparently wasn't a part of the march past band. Haven't seen him since. >the announcer comes up to the podium,tells us that a distinguished speaker(professor old dude) had joined us today. >Professor Old dude takes the stage. >"so I'm pretty sure you as an art college have heard of this indian game company,they're currently developing this new game called "Real Life"..." >I am unable to decide if old dude is being philosophical,there actually is a game called "Real Life" or if he's just senile. >proceeds to then give us sales pitches for 2 more companies >through the whole thing ,keep thinking when the add will end so i can just be done with this video. >Plot twist,the ad was the video >old dude just advertised 5 to 6 video game companies and his upcoming novel. >then everyone is told to so sit in a corner as the professional dancers from earlier do a pretty cool dance segment. >then cakes were handed out to everyone >then I went t back to my room and fell asleep for the rest of the day. >woke up and warframe refused to update. >end of day.
