A Prime Dilemma

So recently I started playing warframe again. I got my hands on a Lex prime set for some keys. I'm pretty early in the game (just beaten bosses of Jupiter and Saturn). At first I thought of selling this little guy but after some research, the internet said this gun is a top tier handgun and can solo the star chart. My primaries aren't as powerful, though I got a Dex Furis thanks to an event a few months ago.

 

My dilemma is should I sell this or should I use it for my own? If it's the former, how much should I sell it for? For the latter, will it help me farm some prime parts to help me return losses if I were to sell it?

Last I recall Lex Prime doesn't really sell high, and it IS fairly strong, but so are the Dex Furis (though they're big ammo hogs)

Personally, I'd build it. but that's entirely up to you

Keep it, it will help you a ton. With how much it's worth in trade chat, you'll be hurt by selling it.

I would build it, and use it for the mastery as well as it being a good secondary. I feel secondaries should be faster fire rate while the primary is the high damage weapon, however this is just personal preference and this gone does not follow that preference. However, this game is mostly purely preference when it comes to what you want to use.

Lex Prime is a good side-arm, however cosider also using atomos or sonicor both weapons are excelent and can take you a long way up to T4 towers, take a look to these builds:

both weapons are easy to use, fairly reasonable ammo consumption and excellent dps
