Does The "decaying Period" Of The Argon Crystal Prevent It From Being Used In Crafting?

I got 3 argon crystals and i want to craft the twin grakatas. But I read that after 24 hours the argon crystal begins to decay. Does this mean i cant use it to craft stuff while it`s in this decaying period?

You can use it any time during the 24h and be fine. It's just want 24 is up, one of your 3 argon will be removed form your inventory. It would take 3 days for you to lose them all. Which is why you should use them to craft items before they decay completely.

 

But, the Twin Grakata doesn't need argon crystals.... :/

The above is incorrect information- here's how it actually works:

 

Go to your foundry and look at your resources there, over argon crystals there will be a timer. On that time of day you will lose HALF of your total argon crystals. You can use them at any time, the timer has no effect other than taking them away when it hits 0 so you have to go get more.

As long as you have the Argon crystal you can use it. Once the countdown timer hits 0 it disappears from your inventory (3 down to 2, etc)

And Twin Grakatas don't take argon, only 2 Grakatas rifles, and a forma

This is 100% correct.  I used to work with radioactive stuff a lot, so this is one of those things about this game I'm absolutely never going to forget lol.

So long as you have enough for what you're trying to craft, you can use them at any time.
