Formas?what?

hey again guys,i've seen ppl typing Braton prime build (3 formas) for example...what exactly do they mean?i know what a forma is..i got twin grakatas xd but can you explain me? thank you!

Formas are consumable item useable on max rank equipment to add polarity slot to equipment to allow more expensive mods to fit within the capacity limit.

 

EDIT: And as Plushy said when people mention weapon+ amount of formas is how many formas was used for said build

What they mean is that's how many forma it takes to change enough polarities to make all the mods fit for that build.
