Can Someone Explain The Xp System?

Okay so I've been testing the XP system for a bit now and so far I can tell the Info on the Wikia Page (http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Affinity) is Outdated and wrong and the XP system seems to be Updated/Working Differently than it describes. Before I show the Test Results I've gathered I want to point out I have been Using a Level 24 Valkyr, A Max Rank Boltor Prime, an Unranked Ballistica, an Unranked MK1-BO and a Max Rank Carrier Sentinel with no Weapon Equipped. Here is my Testing Results so far:

 

5 Grineer Marine Kills for 57 XP Each by Ripline with all Except Melee  (125 XP Awarded for using Ability 5x)

Result:

315 XP Towards Valkyr

45 XP Towards Ballistica

 

5 Grineer Marine kills for 57 XP each by Ripline with all Equipment Result:

315 XP Towards Valkyr

30 XP Towards Ballistica

30 XP Towards MK1-BO

 

5 Grineer Marine kills for 57 XP each by MK1-BO with all Equipment Result:

145 XP Towards Valkyr

No XP Awarded to Ballistica

145 XP Towards MK1-BO

 

5 Grineer Marine kills for 57 XP each by Ballistica with all Equipment Result:

145 XP Towards Valkyr

145 XP Towards Ballistica

No XP Awarded to MK1-BO

 

Total XP Earned 285

What it would look like with a 50/50 Split:

142.5 XP Towards Valkyr

142.5 XP Towards Ballistica

No XP Towards MK1-BO

 

5 Grineer Marine kills for 57 XP each by Hysteria with only Boltor Equipped Result:

151 XP Towards Valkyr

(The other Half towards the maxed Boltor?)

 

As you can see from the Results, It seems that instead of doing 25% XP to Warframe and 75% split among Weapons as the Wikia Suggests it's doing 50% XP to Warframe and 50% to the Weapon involved with the killings.

 

Also when Enemies are killed with a Warframe Power it doesn't seem to be giving 100% of the XP to the Warframe as the Wikia Suggests I can't make out the exact Percentage but it seems your also losing XP, like when I did the Ripline kills without the Melee total XP should have been 410 (Including Warframe Ability XP) and even with it giving 45 to the Ballistica there should have been 365 XP to the Warframe not 315 (Maybe the 50 went to the Boltor but didn't show since it's maxed?)

 

Anyway if anyone can make sense of all this please do I've been trying to figure this out for a bit.

 

Side note: If the Wikia Page is wrong why hasn't it been updated yet?

no offense at all, you're just reading what the article is saying incorrectly. 25% Warframe and 75% split across Weapons is for Shared XP, not self XP.

discrepancy between 142.5 and 145 would be Floating Point Rounding.

small loss from Warframe Kills probably something odd with Ability cast XP.

Ability Cast resulting in fractional XP probably because of Ability cast XP.

The wiki page does say 50/50.

It says 25% to Warframe and 75% split between weapons unless otherwise specified... then it goes on to specify how kills with weapons and other things work. Maybe not worded the best it could be, but not inaccurate.

It's confusing if that's all for shared XP because it states that Warframe Ability Kills go 100% to the Frame but Hysteria acts like your using a Melee Weapon and only a fraction goes to the frame
