Introduction: The idea of this frame is to be a multi-tool, able to solo run OR support a team if needed. Mercury is a work in progress, so any and all feedback would be really helpful!

Frame Name: Mercury

Frame Name Explained: If you've ever seen liquid Mercury, you'll understand the name after reading the abilities. If not, here's a quick image of what it looks like, and that might help you understand how some of the animations work, as well as where the direct inspiration came from!

Frame Stats (At Level 30):

260 Health

140 Shield

200 Armor

150 Power

1.08 Speed

Frame Stats Explained: I've built this frame's concept upon the idea of using it as a viable option for solo-play and speedruns of things on the Nav and some Sorties. (Not year long void runs etc.). So I've tried to not make it too squishy, while keeping it within a range where it's abilities wouldn't turn it into a total easy-mode tank. I feel like it balances well, though it may need an armor reduction to 150 rather than 200, we'll see!

Frame Abilities:

Spoiler

[1] Flux: Mercury will melt down her right hand, forming a molten metal ball, and hurl it at the enemy with the highest defense within range of the ability. This will proc the enemy with a radiation status effect or a blast status effect, depending entirely on RNG. (50/50 Chance for either) This proc will last for 8 seconds. This ability will consume 25 energy,

[2] Slidestep: Mercury will melt down her entire right arm this time, throwing it onto the floor or wall, forming a narrow pathway of liquid metal for 6/12/18/24 seconds upon which allied units and other tenno can walk on to receive a 15%-30%-45%-60% speed buff for 2/4/6/8 seconds after walking off, or as long as they remain on the pathway. Any enemies to walk on this pathway will be sucked into it, similar to Hydroid's "Undertow", and will take 50/100/150/200 radiation damage each second while sunk in the pathway. This ability will consume 50 energy.

[3] Drain: Nearby enemies will be pulled into the ground, taking 30/60/90/120 damage per second, and on recast will be spit out, coated in a liquid metal steely sheen. While this is active, coated enemies will have 40% less armor, and a 30% speed debuff. This ability will consume 100 energy.

[4] Reform: Mercury will shift her body back into a semi-liquid, turning herself into a figure made entirely of flowing liquid metal. While in this form, 6 energy is consumed per second, and you can only attack with your molten arms, dealing 60/120/180/240 damage per hit, and a 30% chance to proc radiation. While in this form Mercury is immune to damage, and all allies standing within 3 meters of Mercury will receive .5 energy, and 3.0 health per second.

Frame Abilities Explained: So the idea here is to create a frame that's able to clear a room, or avoid everything on the map, all at a somewhat high energy cost, and at the same time, be a fun and diverse frame, with a somewhat unusual theme! Most of these abilities are tailored to create a vanguard of a frame, who can easily help themselves or support a team. The first ability can be used to clear a doorway, or disable a challenging enemy long enough to get past them. The second ability is basically a speed pad for the tenno, and a obstacle for enemy units, allowing for completely diverse play and uses. The third ability, while it costs quite a bit of energy, can easily be used to weaken a group of enemies, or to slow down enemies pushing an objective to give tenno time to reload and recover. The fourth, and final ability is heavily inspired by the popular frame, Valkyr. It will allow you to heavily support allies with energy regeneration and health regeneration, while turning Mercury into a melee slaughterhouse. This is all of course, at the very, very high energy cost of the ability.

Conclusion: I feel as though this would be a fun frame for everyone to use, as well as a very useful one when modded correctly. Thank you for reading, and don't forget to leave a reply regarding what you liked/disliked about the frame! Thanks Tenno! :D
