No way to copy game to another computer

Long story short, I have 4 computers in my house that people play Waframe on.

My son did the update when he got home. That's 5 GB.

Now I'm updating my computer, which is 2 feet from his in the same room. Another 5 GB downloaded.

I also have 2 laptops that my wife and friend use. That's another 10 GB.

I only have aDSL internet service that runs at 6016 / 800. It will take over a day to download all of these updates, as no one can use the internet while the games are updating or it will take even longer.

Copying the entire contents of C:\Games\Warframe from my sons computer via network transfer, onto the drive of my computer, doesn't work. It copies the data just fine. I check the size of the folder afterwards, shows 18GB.

I then run the launcher as per normal which DELETES THE ENTIRE DATASET and re-downloads almost 6 GB, all over again. When is this going to be fixed? If this is some DRM protection it's not needed, It's a free to play game.

Just copy the data folder,dont overwrite the launcher/other stuff,it might fix your problem of having to redownload all of the assets again.
