Launcher Crash

I downloaded warframe from steam and when i launch it from steam the engine crashes as soon as it starts up saying The Evolution Engine has stopped working. BUUUT if i launch through the file launcher it works fine. also i added the file launcher as a non-steam shortcut but when i loaded it through that it also crashed. Could it be steam?

 

P.S sorry about the background idk how to get rid of it. i coppied from steam

Servers are getting DDosed again. That's probably the cause

When where the servers DDosed? i downloaded warframe late tuesday - early wensday (like i think it finished, im guessing 12-3am i was asleep) but i played it like 10 am wensday
