For Saryn Spore Builds...

If i understand correctly, a status proc weapon such as a gas ignis build is necessary.  However, I was thinking of using a Quanta Vandal that has its damage in at electricity + gas since u can't just get rid of the electricity.  Would the Quanta be better for this?  I'm not sure how this is calculated, or if the electricity damage would throw the entire idea off of using gas on it in the first place.

Any Saryn users able to explain if this is a bad idea or not?

Quanta is good too. It doesn't proc as much but it procs harder.

Make sure to get punch through mod for it tho.

I see.  Well, since I just got my Quanta Vandal this is the build I cooked up for it in the past couple hours of forma'ing it and such:  http://steamcommunity.com/id/CaliburxZero/screenshot/475501609102715114

 

If anybody can comment on the build or have suggestions for it, let me know as well as if anybody can really comment if the ignis or the Quanta is overall better.  I tested it myself and couldn't arrive at an answer.

The reason for choosing Quanta in the first place was because the build is dependant on a high status chance weapon that does a gas proc.
