"Last activity" status on Support tickets

Question

i opened a ticket with Support 8 days ago about reclaiming a Broken-War blueprint I had sold prior to Update 18.6. I didn't make any changes to my ticket since, and yet it shows the "Last activity" status as 2 days ago.  I also opened another ticket 4 days ago about a player baiting other players to get kicked in chat, didn't make any changes to the ticket, and it shows the "Last activity" status as 1 day ago.  I haven't received a response on either ticket, so what gives?  Are support staff opening and then abandoning tickets to "improve" their stats?  If this keeps up, and if tickets are answered based on their "Last activity" date, my tickets may never get answered.
