Chat Not Working Sometimes

When I'm in game every now and then the chat won't respond to my chat button. I can keep pressing it but nothing works.

Usually I fix it by firing off a shot.

 

Seems fine after that.

 

Sometimes though, it just refuses to work for a few minutes (or longer).

I have same problem, and i found out that i have to turn my sprint toggle off , and then chat pops up after pressing "T"

Noticed this too. It seems all kinds of button presses can fix it. Haven't narrowed down which ones actually cause it yet though.

Toggle sprint off works for me too... It seems that I'm unable to open the chat via "T" when I toggled sprint on before. The keyboard layout is standard so far, but i used the "shift" key for Toggle Sprint and Tab for roll. It started when I changed that.

I have to wait a second after movement to open chat and usually spam it a few times, and I mean literally sit there for a second and press nothing. Unlike other games, I can open it immediately. I don't use toggle sprint however.

I've had then happen on the main/mission menu before just after exiting a mission. would not respond to clicks.

Keyboard commands are somewhat weird in general.

 

On several (quite rare, but still) occasions, I've encountered:

1) Can't use melee attack;

2) Can't use weapon switching;

3) Can't use reload;

4) (and of course) Can't use chat.

 

They all seem related to various "toggle" commands, i.e. toggle crouch, toggle sprint, etc. Usually after pressing those various toggles you can manage to "unstuck" you non-working commands. But it's certainly annoying.
