Just.Ace
First forum post, please bear with me here. All in all, thanks for taking some of your time to read my post. These are my current PC specs: Nvidia GeForc GTX 960 AMD FX-8350 Eight Cores (4.0 GHz) (I have Nvidia expierience and Nvidia control panel installed). My problem is, no matter the game I run, I get really high CPU usage, Warframe reaching the highest, reaching around 2,000,000 K in CPU usage. (Usually stops at 1,000,000 K, but it has spiked before). I'll try getting an image of CPU usage: http://imgur.com/eSsJy68 Now, I remember playing Warframe on a lower end PC (a laptop at that) and it runs with a lot less CPU usage (around 400,000-500,000 K). Can anybody explain why? Also, if any additional information is required, i'll see if I can obtain it. Edited May 8, 2016 by Ace_Legacy
MillbrookWest
That's memory. Not CPU usage. Your CPU usage is in the CPU column (6%). In theory, the number you are referencing can be as big as the total amount of memory in your system. As for why it has grown, Warframe had a recent visual update. There was an increase in memory usage for all the new tech. Additionally, that number can be subject to the settings you run the game at - Run at a high setting, and you get a high number. Run at a low setting, get a low number.
