Never run charge mods. Crit, slash, and status mods are objectively better than charged-attack builds. This isn't because charged attack mods are bad, but because all melee weapons in the game are equalized in charged-attack efficiency and multiplier, which makes the mods completely off-base with most if not all melee weapons.
