White_Raven Posted June 15, 2013 Share Posted June 15, 2013 Right now the Dread bow is great but i don't like the arrow. I mean how it could fly with that shape. And its tip is just... look weird. Also, I'm of the opinion that on impact it explodes or otherwise does something in the directions that the arrow tip is shaped like, severing the opponents body in the direction of the charge. -HAKUNA-YOUR-TATAS- Posted June 15, 2013 Share Posted June 15, 2013 I've always subscribed to the idea that the Dread and even Paris, while being bow weapons were also somewhat energy based. The round design might be some kind of laser tip which is what allows it to slice through enemies. EDIT (change the image) Hmm, it still needs some sort of sidways flares to justify it's splitting, which is why I like the original so much. But with some tweaks I'd be up for that. Maybe, I'd be up for a particle effect showing flashes emitting from the sides of the arrow, the Dreads entire gimmick was it's splitting power, so enhancing that would be fantastic.
