Razorfire
It might effect other weapons as well. As you know, weapons with recoil will make the reticle or aim-point jump a certain distance vertically. With the Akbolto, at medium to long ranges, the bolts appear to land at the apex of that jump, rather than at the point you aimed for. At close range, however, it's spot on, like it should be. Others might want to check this to verify.
Pi_Masta
Bolt weapons are affected by gravity. Thus they arc like a true projectile would. At long ranges it becomes a bit difficult to aim but with practice you can adjust for it.

It is pretty strange that they fly upwards after they pass whatever the set distance is, but it's intentional.
LordMidnightX
I actually aim slightly away from were I want to hit with my Akbolto at longer ranges it seems to work.
Razorfire
Well, until a dev says, "As designed" I'm calling it a bug.
HexeJaeger
I have noticed that most of my bolts seem to land higher than my shot, I only excused it as the "poor accuracy" given by its akimbo nature. I would suggest aiming a bit lower for now. :P
Fluffbane
Actually all the bolt guns (boltor, bolto, and akbolto) curve after a certain distance. They don't just go up, they also go left and right and up and down. If you use a multishot mod, sometimes the two bolts will curve in different directions. The random curve after a certain distance has always been there, presumably to simulate the fact they aren't spin-stabilized. Also to give them something resembling a drawback aside from the travel time.

Some weapons have tighter groups than others, but that's not what I'm talking about. The shots are going high.

Some weapons have tighter groups than others, but that's not what I'm talking about. The shots are going high. I think you missed the point. With the burston, for example, the grouping is mostly determined by the size of the crosshair on your hud. But the bolto (and apparently the other bolt guns) fire projectiles that can curve away from their target in mid-air, making them inaccurate in comparision to guns that fire bullets or lasers, balancing with the relatively higher damage output.
