win32.exe Posted June 16, 2013 Share Posted June 16, 2013 When I exit Warframe (I normally press Windows's red X button since I normally play in windowed mode), sometime, the process itself still run in the background holding lots of ram while the window is already closed. I normally noticed it when Steam says that I'm still playing Warframe and I'll have to end process in task manager. I play Warframe in x64 mode with DX11 on, running on Windows 8 with GT540m (Nvidia Optimus enabled). Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

-Kittens- Posted June 19, 2013 Share Posted June 19, 2013 (edited) The game itself has a progressively rampant memory leak in x64 mode, with or without the dx11 pipeline, I've actually had to replace RAM because of this; culminating in basically having to restart the game after every mission. Considering I'm running 24 gigs with two Titans in SLI and a 580 3gig for physx, the situation is slightly ridiculous. The game used to take up about 750-800 megs PERIOD, even in the DX11 pipe.
