Sol nods towards the sealed door

The Kween limped away from the sealed room, away from the Dreamers.

Her side still stung.

But she had been wounded worse, though not by better.

She had been a warrior once.

Part of her wanted to go back and fight them. Teach the arrogant children a lesson.

Lydia fired a shot at the door, and Richard's "Construction Putty:  For When You Just REALLY Need a Door" blew the door apart easily.

Alice smiled warmly, though awkwardness was mixed in too. How nice of Richard, all she did was give him a steak that would seem like a death threat to most people.

She looked down beside her, expected to see the little girl still clinging onto her. "Heard that Marie? He's going to be alright."

She peeks around you.

"He get better?" She asked.

The blinding flash of light, the electronics going wild for a couple of seconds, the short communicational distortions. All that happened when the charge was fired. All of the three cannons left an intricate radioactive cyan residue "cobweb" expanding from their rears and slowly dissolving in space. Unlike the shot near Phenix, this one was much much more powerful. One of the canons shot the guiding charge that set the moving vector, while two other charges followed the tracing charge, moving forward in a helix pattern and synergizing with each other. The crushing force was at least twice times stronger than if there were two separate shots. Judging by the fact that a decent share of drones was dragged into the swiftly moving gravitational anomaly, the power was higher than it was expected by the designers of the device. Also, one of the cannons lost its "petal" rails after the shot, proving that this piece of tech is still a prototype.

In any case, the intertwining anomaly swiftly broke into the cluster of grineer fleet, turning everything on its way into cosmic dust and bare elementary particles...

The Grineer inside the fortress rallied, waiting for reassurance from their Kweens.

None came.

Lydia unloaded both barrels of Richard's full-radiation Sancti Tigris from the doorway and reloaded as she ran down the hall toward the Kween.

The pellets graze and put holes through the Kween, but she remarkably stays upright, the attack giving her the boost to dart from the threads.

*He looks up a bit* {I..can't remember...it was...so long ago..}

One of the other children walks up to you.

"Found another one did you?" He asks the one who pulled you inside.

"Yup." The other child respond.

"Well welcome." The first says to you. "Come one over. We found some rations that the crazies missed."

"Don't worry about him." The void says. "You don't need him to lookout fur you any more... look."

He thrusts his hands forward.

Nothing happens.

He tries again and this time you can see the air distort around a wave of force.

Lydia reloaded again and blind-fired a shell into the vent, then looked down to see if she'd hit the Kween.

The chute curves to run straight again. You hear the sound of a body hitting something soft and a grunt of pain. However the rounds appear to have hit the tube, not the Kween.

((Follow?))

You find your forces pinned down by heavy fire. There is a sudden flash of light and several of the ramparts burst into flames. Boarding pods rain down, slamming into the remaining defenses. There are ten in all.

Graxx Tenno and Clones jump from them, each scattering a handful of small spheres. Specters of bombards and other troops rise from the spheres.

As the Grineer were taken by surprise by the Graxx ambush, Fireteam Sigma's remaining forces would be lead by one main Tenno. "Push up! Push up! This is are chance! Drop those gene-bags!" Sigma's heavier infantry would move around the sides and take cover and begin laying down suppression fire onto the Grineer forces to either kill, push back, or pin down. Meanwhile the main force pushed up from the middle. They moved from cover to cover when the Grineer were too busy firing on the heavy infantry and the Graxx support.

Lydia slid down the vent, gun in front of her, clutching the trigger to avoid firing the second round until she could see the Kween again.

Having the reports of controlling the space area and properly besieging the fortress, the teams split up and took advantage of confused and demoralized grineer. The assault teams spread out to scour the territory. Valkiries ripped through the rears of the entrenched clones, acting as a metaphorical "hammers" to heavier but slower "anvils"; Rhinos and Chromas steadily but surely trampled the opposition with the help of team amplifying abilities, coordinated gunfire, advanced gear, and even focus schools; Trinities did what they always do - sustained the vanguard troops with energy, over shields, and emergency healing; Novas and Banshees marked the hiding targets and exposed them to even greater harm, sometimes smoking the defenders off their cozy fortifications via soundalikes and antimatter drops; Limbos kept an eye on their teams formations and overall personnel safety, preventing potentially dangerous situation with the help of their plane-breaking powers.

While the assault teams were scorching through the hallways and other spaces, defese teams encamped at the choke points, securely locking the exits and gunning / freezing / tearing / impaling those clones that tried to make a flee from the assault groups.

The fortress turned into a slaughterhouse full of damnably angry predators seeking for the blood of their enemies; especially for the blood of a particular one.

"The zone is locked tight, the fleets control the space. Confirm if the rodent is dead or its supposed location so we could send the eradication teams" Teloch half-informed and half-inquired Ryoko.

Something small and bandaged pops from a chute near you and plops to the ground, groaning.

The Kween gets to her feet, shaking her head.

You pop out of the chute before the WTC commander, colliding with the Kween.

More Grineer flood towards you, as if fleeing from the fortress.

Lydia shoved the barrel of Richard's shotgun directly against the Kween's torso and released the trigger.
