So on my Boltor Prime I have

Serration

Heavy Cal

Shred

Split chamber

3 elemental mods depending on the type of enemy I'm fighting

 

I'm not sure what to put on in my 8th slot though. I have a rifle ammo mutation, but i'm not sure if its really worth the slot. What should i put in?

I've considered a bane mod but when my boltor is split into 3 configs: corrupted/infested, grineer and corpus. Should I just put a bane of infested in the corrupted config?

Bane, another elemental combo, vile acceleration (huge dps boost, but, well, lot of ammo going downrange), or the projectile flight speed boost whose name I can't remember.

It's a base damage weapon. It's about elementals and RoF. Build accordingly.

Piercing caliber, it adds a lot of raw dmg. Requires heavy forma investment though, and only barely fits
