(PSN)Fac3kick3r_lolz
Been wanting to join PC for years now. I want to build something stronger than a PS4 and can run most games at high settings and have a consistent 60 fps. Never actually built a PC before. Any tips on what parts to look out for? Ibro156
If you got the simple things like the monitors, keyboard and mouse. The really fun begins when making your computer what would you need basically: - Motherboard - Ram(s) - CPU - CPU Cooler - CPU Thermal past (usually found with cooler or CPU) - GPU - Power Supply - Decent size Computer case - Motherboard fans (buy two at least) - Hard Disk - Solid State drive (optional) - Operating System (e.g. window 7 for example) All of these items vary from each other. So you want to do a lot of research before buying any of these parts. If you tend to play games then you won't really need to worry too much on the CPU but you may notice quite fair of amount of money would go to the GPU. The Ram would suggest getting minimum of 8 gb but if you intend to run more things in the background, you may want to add extra ram later done the line. Getting a good GPU for a good price can be a bit of a pain. Try doing some research and see where you can find the best one for the best value. Solid state drive is optional. As you already would have a Hard Disk would same job but stat drive makes loading a lot more faster. So if your play a game without solid state drive it would take a two minutes. But with solid state drive it can take 30 seconds for example. As its a lot more faster in looking for the data it needs. For the computer case. You want to find something nice and spacious, so you can easily put the parts in. As a case can make all the difference for the computer. As the motherboard can easily heat up from all of the components it holding. So buying a good case can make difference in how many fans you can fit in. You want to have at least two. One blowing cool air in and the other blowing heated air out. Edited June 13, 2016 by Ibro156 I really hate typos
