More Evil Enemies And Difficulty/new Game+

hello fellow warframers.

 

here are a few suggestions.

 

first, enemies.

the enemies as they are right now are a bit to "forgiving" about you getting knocked down so i suggest that at least some of them receive a finisher.

example a grineer shield lancer or scorpion knocks you down/drags you into a group of 10+ grineers, now instead of having most of them just standing there staring at you and a few of them shooting at you they should rush in there and try and STOMP YOUR FACE OF so that now it will be pretty damn important to take down those scorpions and shield lancers or else you might end up as a grineer dance floor.

 

second, enemies again.

as suggested in another thread some of the factions (aka grineer and corpus) should have order giving leader units that drastically improve the combat abilities of the rest of the enemies present.

 

third, difficulty/new game+.

add 2 more difficulty's to the game that can be selected.

the first difficulty is the one that we already have.

second difficulty should be one that makes all the enemies scale to be at your level maybe even increase the amount of specialist/heavy units spawned and maybe even have a few brutally efficient units that can only spawn on this difficulty to make sure that none of the new players will have to get rofl stomped in the face by some sort of

"disruptor toxic healer ancient" with a leap attack.

third difficulty would be around the level of tier 3 void missions.

there should be better drops of course on the higher difficulty's.

 

fourth, enemy variation depending on systems.

there should perhaps be a progressive change among the foot soldiers of the enemy depending on what system your playing.

lets take the grineer as an example on mercury there should hardly ever be any armored lancers present there should be lightly armored variants of them (simply a powerfist/whatever the sawmen are called now with a gun) whilst later on all of these will start to change.

The lightly armored lancers will turn into our current lancers that we all love (to dismember) whilst the melee versions will also turn into some more armored versions ending up in members from lieutenant lech kril's veteran forces that are pretty much clones of him except they don't have his frost abilities and are in general weaker and only melee (though they will still hit like a truck loaded with bricks that have been covered in roids).

 

that's all for now sry about the wall of text and i apologize for any grammar/spelling that is wrong but i have syndromes to blame it on.

So you suggest additional non-telegraphed knockdowns and also making knockdowns more dangerous?

 

Man what. That's like the opposite of making the game's difficulty interesting or fair. It's just difficulty for the sake of difficulty at this point.

not the only thing i suggested but it could of course be a thing that only applies to the higher difficulty's but it does give a reason to stick together in a group since its less easy for the grineer to have a dance party on your face if your 3 tenno  friends are spraying them with bullets/powers.

and it also gives everyone else the opportunity to hit a bunch of them when they start to cluster together but yeah it would need to be balanced.

We can already be stunlocked to death, don't really need finishers

personally Ive only ever been in that situation once when a bunch of shield lancers decided to use me as a volley ball and otherwise its just been when a bunch of runners decide to blow up and have me stagger around or when I'm getting trolled by rollers, but i may have just been lucky so far.

Perhaps adding finishing moves would be an idea if the enemies were less prone to knock you down. Not mega nerf and you would never get knocked down but not the 100% if monster X hits you you're going down. Special attacks like Heavy's ground slam and Scorpions "lasso" should though.

I am also for that Scorpions should lasso you, but instead of being a dead fish in the water you should end up on your back with your side arm - this would enable you to fight back, killing the Scorpion before finisher. (Think of the "downed possition")

 

Secondly I really like the idea of of commanders/higher ranking enemies that up the AI of other units.
Having 3-4 shield lancers form a moving wall with fire support behind it in a corridor could be cool (yuuuhuuu Ogris says hellooo! KAAAA-BOOOOM!)

 

Or having enemies "take turns" while firing to cancel reload stops. Covering, focus fire while melee units close in. Coordinated grenade bombardment from lancers/ crewmen.

Maybe some special units could even set up semi stationary heavy weapons? (cannon on legs operated by enemy, or sentries).

As enemies already use cover maybe the "only pops up the hand/weapon and spray bullets without aiming very well?

love it great ideas and they should add your suggestion about the scorpion even without the finishers it would be nice to either be able to cut the rope or just kill the scorpion from a down and dragged position
