blackindexcard Posted June 18, 2013 Share Posted June 18, 2013 I finally had my vauban finish building yesterday and I noticed unrank vortex only does 10 damage. From what I heard before, Vortex used to do a crap load of damage, but a nerf to 10.. that's a bit over the top. Considering Vortex is Vauban's ultimate skill costing at 100, I think it should be similiar to Saryn's Miasma. Base damage of 300 per second. (maxed rank of course) An ultimate that doesn't add up to 150 is really sad. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It does some fair damage by itself and I have never had anything walk away from it after a few charged melee swings with my Gram. It may not have quite the instant gratification of seeing all enemies near you suddenly explode, but it does mop the floor of enemies - no matter how tough they are.
