If an MR4 buys the Mag Prime Access, will he still get the Dakra Prime (MR6)?

So a clannie who is MR4 asked me if he bought the Mag Prime Access Pack, would he still get the Dakra Prime, which is mastery locked to MR6?

How would that work? Does he get it in his inventory but he can't equip it? Does he get the parts to assemble it later? Does buying the pack bypass the MR requirement?

Yes, you will receive the item.  I'm not 100% sure if you can use it or not, but I seem to remember DE saying that buying prime access allows you to bypass the MR requirement.

*EDIT* I can't find any proof that you can bypass the MR requirement.

I started a new account on PC, and I also bought the Mag Prime access pack. I'm also MR4 and I'm able to equip and mod the Dakra prime. Haven't gone into a mission with it, though.

I don't know for sure but probably buying a prime access or prima vault package bypasses the MR requirement.

Well, I bought Hunhow's Gift when I was only M5 and I was still able to use and mod the War. I'd imagine it'd be the same with the vault package.

MR locks only prevent you from obtaining the item, not using the item. Any bundle that contains an item that is MR locked where the bundle itself is not MR locked (such as Hunhow's Gift and Prime Access) will allow you to obtain the item and use it without reaching the necessary MR.

Think of it as an added perk for buying the whole bundle.
