How does the NEW Relics System Work?

As I understand it

1. You equip a Relic with possible drop table (As an example, let's just say it's a radiant Lith Relic)

2. You find a void rift and close it.
3. You get an end mission reward

My question: Is the reward still random (as in I can get a forma BP, Boar Rec, Lex Rec, Dak BP, Soma BP, or Mag BP) OR will I be able to pick any one of those rewards (Mag BP)?

Please explain by taking into account Solo run only to make things simpler. My fear is that if the former is the case, then we still have RNG plus more grind (traces to level up Relic).

from my understanding, when you complete a fissure mission, you will be able to choose from a few random choices ie. boar prime and lex reciever, with a smaller chance of being able to choose a mag prime blueprint, so there is only a small chance of being able to choose the mag part and a higher chance of only being able to choose a forma and lex/boar recievers
