Why Is scamming a thing?

so the past while over on my twitch i've been catching scammers who are trying to scam an "8 year old" kid out of an absurd amount of plat (740) and they've been going to some lengths I've been recording every single one of them and exposing them for exactly what they are! 

They are disgusting and should be punished in any way possible!

Next time, if you want to report for scamming, please just send in a support ticket to DE's support team and let them handle it, rather than purposefully shaming someone on the forums.
