'Out of video memory' crash in Relay

I've got 512 megabytes of video memory, so on the very low end of specs that can run the game. When I was in the relay while the void trader was there, as all the characters were rendering (probably got up to two or three dozen from being empty when I arrived), Warframe closed unexpectedly with a little message about 'Out of Video Memory'. Any chance you could optimize it to not fully load all of the warframe meshes and textures if the game is approaching the system's video memory limits? I'm thinking the blank 'still loading' excal frame stand-ins could be used for the frames that aren't going to be loaded fully. Just a thought on this crash. I'll post system specs if you need them.

I have a lower spec machine myself and always occasionaly crashed on relays, was just a thing I've come to accept.  I updated my Nvidia drivers (july) and suddenly the problem got much worse.  I wasn't able to last on a relay for more that 20 seconds tops without crashing.  I rolled back to the Feb/March drivers from earlier this year and the stability on relays improved greatly.
