Odd directional FPS spike

For a number of updates and patches now, I have been experiencing a strange apparition of lag, which seems to cause my game to run in slow motion when I look in a certain direction on pretty much any tile-set.

It doesn't matter where on the tileset, it's random every time I do a mission, sometimes it doesn't happen in every room, sometimes multiple places in one room, but if I look at a certain thing, I go from around 80 FPS to 10, and my whole game seems to process in slow motion, even the cursor and menus with it paused on solo, when facing this 'lag causing death wall'.

It doesn't seem to be related to any certain warframe ability, or enemy factions animations/particles. It happens everywhere and anywhere.

System details:

OS: Windows 7 x64

CPU: Intel i5 2500K 3.30 GHz (4 Core, 8 GB RAM)

Motherboard: AsusTek P8Z68-v

GPU: Nvida GTX 750 Ti (4 GB RAM)

I use the GeForce experience to keep my graphics drivers up to date, so unless they added a severe incompatibility that is only effecting me, and nobody else I know who uses the Ge-force experience, I doubt it is related to my display drivers.
