Mod: Thief's Wit Deserves Some Love!

1. Remove that Thief's Wit shows loot not picked up by other players after you picked it up in multiplayer games. Makes no sense since Thief's Wit only shows loot for you. It gets confusing.

 

2. Add Mod Glow (again) or show mods on the minimap. Because.. why not?

Ya know, I've always felt like Thief's Wit should only work for materials. As for your first point, I could go either way. But to your second point, mod glow has been back for a while now.

I think what he means is the "see mods glowing in blue through walls" to make it easier to pick them up and not to miss them.

Mods as orange dots.

 

Keep materials not yet picked up by others, this helps clan members to notify eachother of materials still not picked up.  Change color of dot if that material has already been picked up by you.

 

Removing the dot completely once you pick it up is bad.

1) Make it a sentinel mod instead of a frame mod.

2) Make it an artifact

3) Make it show only stuff for you, materials and mods

4) Make it increase the chance of materials dropping

5) Make it increase the value of a particular material drop

6) Make it increase the 'rarity' of material drops

Any or all of the above would be welcome. The first two are kind of mutually exclusive but could be done as three separate mods (thieves wit for frame, sentinel, and artifact)

Cut 1-3 and make seperate mods out of 4, 5 and 6. That would be an interesting idea.

While I'd like to have one of those, 4-6 would make the mod "mandatory" like Redirection... I'm not sure we need even less flexibility when it comes to mod loadouts!

 

I think Thief's Wit needs a larger area of effect per rank, it needs to show lockers and/or it should cost less power to equip. (And I still wouldn't use it)

How about giving it more range and combining the 'radar' mods?

 

Enemy Radar + Loot Radar together might almost be useful.

 

Almost.

 

(Bonus if it lets you see things through walls).
