No. Prime are aesthetically different and have small (not inconsequential, but not game changing) buffs to base stats (shields and/or health and/or armor and/or energy and/or speed; usually one or two per-frame). They have a passive ability that give 250 energy when touching a box trap in the void, which can be great, but very situational. Ultimately, they aren't very different at all.

  • aesthetically different from their normal versions, while holding truth to their original models
  • Warframes have little advantages in forms of additional polarities and/or mildly increased stats (Shield/Health/Armor/Energy Capacity)
  • Warframes have the additional advantage or being able to get 250 energy instantly by walking close to a death orb in the void (just like @ra9una mentioned)
  • Weapons have increased/slightly different stats than their normal versions (increased crit chance/damage/magazine size...)

And (most important of them all)

  • They are harder to get

Afaik, the frames you mentioned don't have that much of a big difference, with the possible exception of Rhino's armor. (190 vs 275).

The only noticeable differences I can recall is Ash/Prime (Prime is a bit tankier), Saryn/Prime (Prime has more energy). and Volt Prime (both).

prime frames look a nicer also when you are in the void mission with a prime frame and you go near the orbs you get energy also some of the primes have a it more armor or energy example volt

  • Volt Prime sports an additional 85 armor and 100 energy capacity over his non-Prime counterpart.

over all if you can get the prime then use it rather then the normal one if you cant no big loss :)

here is the info for ember

  • Ember Prime is the only primed frame to come with only 2 polarized slots instead of 3 unlike other Prime Warframes.
    • Possesses a Madurai Pol and a Vazarin Pol polarity, compared to Ember's double Naramon Pol. Due to the entirely differing base polarities, builds on Ember may not transition as well to her Prime variant without sufficient use of Forma.
  • Ember Prime has an increased base armor and shield by 25 for a total of 125 compared to Ember's original 100 base armor and shield.
  • As a Prime Warframe, Ember Prime has a special passive ability where contact with an Orokin Void Death Orb will make them release an energy pulse that grants 250 Energy to all nearby allies. This effect can only occur once per Death Orb, and can occur even if the Death Orb has been previously destroyed.
