Does the difficulty of the planet relate to the amount a resource will drop?

 

Uranus is a above level 20 planet, with Polymer bundles.

 

But there's Venus, MUCH lower level, and has Polymer bundles as well.

 

I haven't noticed, but would Uranus drop more Polymer because it's a more difficult planet? Or does the difficulty not matter? Or is there something else that I haven't noticed?

IIRC, the planet's difficult doesn't matter. However, Polymer Bundles are a common resource on Uranus, while it is a more rare resource on Venus. Rarity on a planet determines drop rate.

As a side-note; if you want to increase material drops further, you can go to Dark Sectors, all of which have a boosted resource drop rate, making resources easier to farm.
