Xbox 360 Controller Gear/Emote Wheel

This is quite a simple issue, so I'll make it short. Basically, on the controller, when you open up your gear and emote window, you are able to move the control stick and press A to select an emote; however, its impossible to select an item from your gear without having to use a mouse or touchpad. I was thinking making the left control stick cycle through the gear on the left and then confirming the item with the A button.

Hi, i use a xbox360 controller and i configured the "select" buttom to display the gear and emote menu, with the left stick i can select the gear and with the right stick i can select the emote, and then i press "x" buttom to confirm the item (the confirm action applied only on the last move selection of any both joysticks). my issue is the i have to stop fighting in the battlefield to show up the display gear menu :D
