LogaMC1995 Posted September 17, 2016 Share Posted September 17, 2016 (edited) MASCHIN, the heavy gunmaster Just a rough concept about a Warframe that can provides fire support, instead of just damage buff like Mesa Name origin Quick google about WW2 German machinegun names brought up "Maschinegewehr". Visual representation 1. Tenno-esque ammo pouches attached 2. Something like Transformers' Hound type body build (except for the big tummy) 3. Some visual of his turrets and ammo chains(we'll get to it later in Abilities) Stats 175 health base, 525 health maxed 50 shield base, 150 shield maxed 400 armor 0.9 sprint speed 125 energy base, 375 energy maxed Passive: 20% more ammo from ammo drop Abilities 1. Snare(25 energy) Maschin releases a jammer that snares an enemy on place. Increased headshot damage and drops additional ammo drop upon killed. Stats: Fixed 100% extra headshot damage Infinite range 7/9/13/15 seconds, 5m/s jammer travel speed 2. Overheat(50 energy) Maschin becomes enraged, releasing steams around him and taunts enemies within his range to prioritize attacking him. Allies gain increased gun holster speed(not melee) and buffs all mechanics related to guns(fire rate, reload, punchthrough). Stats: 12.5/25/37.5/50% buff to fire rate and reload, fixed +0.5/+1/+1.5/+2 punchthrough, fixed 25/50/75/100% holster speed 3/5/7/10 m range 12/15/17/20 seconds 3. Refill(5 energy per second, +1 energy per enemy) Maschin places an ammo dispenser that generates ammo while draining energy. An ammo belt(the one used to feed into machineguns) will be lead from the dispenser to Maschin, constantly supplies ammo to him. Enemies within the range will be debuffed with shorter magazine size and longer reload. Stats: 1.0/2.0/3.0/5.0% of ammo reserve per second, 20/30/40/50% shorter magazine size and reload speed 7/13/19/25 m range(x1.5 for Maschin) 4. Turret(75 energy) Maschin deploys a machinegun turret that fires at high rate until it explodes upon end of duration. Placing the turret within the radius of Dispenser(or vice versa) will cause turret to spool up more until it went overheat(not referring to Ability 2) and explodes faster and bigger, knocking down enemies in range. Stats: 100/115/130/150% multiplier based on primary weapon's mod, 15% status chance, 10% crit chance, 2.5x crit damage, 12.5 fire rate Fixed 50 m range 13/28/36/45 seconds Augments 1. Arc Trap - Replaces Snare with an Arc Trap what deals 25/50/75/100% electric proc. 2. Heavy Intimidation - Slows Maschin's movement by 10/20/30/40% while gives 20/30/40/50% multishot to your weapons. 3. Cache - Any overgenerated ammunitions(eg. Dispenser still active when all your guns ammo reserve are fully stocked) will have 25/30/35/40% chance to be converted to omnibox drops. 4. Final numbers could probably do with a bit of tweaking, but he seems very team/support oriented. And the ammo resupply idea is very nice. Frame with a built in ammo-pizza power. What's not to love?
