Credit boosters could work a little better

So credit boosters... pretty cool stuff. Except when they drop from a rare container, they start immediately and if you happen to be on a long mission and/or big map and pick it up at the start of the map, you pretty much can waste half of the booster for nothing. Or as a log in reward, if you just happen to log in at the morning and dont plan on playing for more than 5mins, then you get a credit booster as a log in reward, so you can either get the value from it and be late from work or just waste it for nothing because you happen to log in and the booster starts immediately.

So... why not just make the boosters an item that the player can activate themselves when they can use the full potential of the booster? I mean i get it that in the end game ppl have to much credits that they cant use, but for new players who need the credits it would be nice that IF you happen to get a booster you could atleast get some value from it and not waste it for nothing.

It is an excellent and obvious idea but sadly the devs think other.

This is silly when you just log in and just want collect the daily login reward or just play a little then you waste a full booster just because in that period you haven't time.

Boosters should be stackable and activate it when you want to use it with other boosters aswell.

Because that means you get to choose when to use it and if you can just stockpile boosters then there's no incentive to actually buy them.

For Login... Just log when you can play For Long time (2h+)

For mission... I think you can just leave and keep booster?(Never tried.. Dunno if booster Will be keep)

But there are these extractors that you can put on planets to collect resources for you. So ofc its logical that ppl try to maximize the time that the extractors are actually working, thats why youd want to log in at  times when you dont have much time to play, mornings for example or before going to bed.

Imo its just bad game design if you happen to get a good loot item and then have to ABORT the mission and quickly go use the booster. Not actually sure if this even works.

You lose all rewards and pickups if you abort. this includes the boosters you pick up from rare containers.

Use the warframe app For extractor...

Think abour this... If you can use boost when you want... The 90 day booster Will be UNLIMITED...

Gotta check that out ty, no i meant that ofc when you start it, it then runs thru the 90 days straight. Didnt mean that you can activate the booster for 1 hour then deactivate it again :D 

Just that you decide yourself when to press the start booster button.

wasted my booster from the login thing (the pack after so many days) cos i have no reason to play the game. would be nice to have saved it for when i had a reason to play

IMO, it's not that big of an issue. 30 mins isn't that long anyways, and if you get a booster as a login bonus... well, it's just like it's called, a bonus. If it happens to be at a time where you can't play for the full 3 hours then it's a bummer but ultimately just bad luck/timing. You're idea isn't bad, but it would murder booster sales, which means less money for DE, which means slower development for Warframe. So it's very unlikely that it will ever happen.
