Rakta Dark Dagger

So today I was doing my rank 8 to 9 mastery rank up test. (It's the one where you have to stealth kill everyone without getting detected)

After killing about 4-5 enemies with stealth affinity bonus combo up the whole time, red pulse radiated outward from me and the red veil logo popped up on my screen at the same time.

Before I realized, every enemy within certain radius has been killed (for me enemies were close enough that I instantly finished my test).

I have not heard of rakta dark dagger having syndicate proc so can anyone tell me what the heck happened there?

I did but I dont see anything of that sort in the wiki...

the main thing i see is that I heal and gain 'over shield' when I attack targets that are irridated by my auto attacks.
