Itzal's blink broken interaction with Energy Field

If an Itzal has a shield from Odanata's energy field it cannot blink passed the shield. Instead it blinks 1-2 meters in front crashes into the shield and stops. It should be able to blink through the shield since it's part of it rather than an obstruction.
