How do Imprints Work?

I want an Omega Sunika Kubrow. I currently own an Omega Sahasa Kubrow.

If I create an imprint of my current Omega, will that trait be passed onto a new Kubrow? If I have a second Imprint for a Sunika, what is the likelihood of me getting the size and breed of the Kubrow I am trying to achieve?

I'm not too familiar with the process and I've always let RNG guide me, but I still haven't gotten a Sunika Kubrow yet (let alone a Chesa). Help is appreciated.

if you have 2 of the exact same imprints then you'll still keep it, it will just grow even more (i think?)

but if you mix your omega imprint with something else then its RNG... and yea to guarantee yourself a sunika or chesa then buy 2 imprints of the same type

Correction, it won't grow bigger.
Gender and size is RNG even from the same imprints.
It took me almost a month of imprinting exactly same imprints of a Kubrow to get the gender and the size I want.

If imprints are the same, then breed, pattern and colors are the same, but as said, gender and size isn't, it is only luck.

So even if I have an imprint of an Omega, that trait won't carry over? Man, that really sucks. It's because of RNG that I wanted to try to explore alternatives to getting the Kubrow that I actually want.
