Why are my fps so low?

So bassicly i remember playing warframe a year ago on medium/high graphics and not experiencing any lag.. Now i have 90 fps in ship and 25-40 fps in mission.. And 30 fps in loading screen..
My setting now are medium and most things are turned off..

My specs- I3 1.90Ghz Duo
Nvidia 840m (2GB)

4GB Ram

I dont know what to do anymore.. My laptop is on high performace and wind10 appareance is set to - for best performance..

I was playing warframe on high like a year ago :(

Sounds like you're running on integrated graphics. Are you plugged in? Laptops usually disable the graphics card on battery

Sorry, i would be overjoyed at the prospect of 25-40fps during missions, given I normally get 15-25fps solo, and as low as 6fps if i play co-op.

I am running on Nvidia (even checked now) and my laptop is always plugged in.

Because every new update bring fancy new graphics stuff and your laptop start failing to handle, also dual core is too weak for Warframe, which more depend on CPU performance than graphics
