review of DDOS vs DOS

Spoiler

dos is a denial of service

ddos is a distributed denial of service : usually accomplished with bots or infected machines to spam a service

example of warfarme ddos: warfarme login is constantly "spammed" to login , but even fake credentials dotn work, the services for checking those account are in use, if this is spammed to a billion access checks at once, the service becomes gridlocked with requests

map reflects the actively detected and reported attacks

the areas that look like a fountains on this map are points being attacked from an unknown location

EX: canada and usa are focal points being attacked from numerous , as of yet unlocated sources

points that are bridged show locations attacking the other location

EX: china is linked to canada and usa

showing the located source of an attack is a nation to another nation atatck
