If I don't mature my Kavat/Kubrow, will they ever lose genetic stability? I'm debating whether or not to mature mine. If so, I plan to mature it, use it as MR fodder, and then throw it in the freezer for all eternity -- I have no desire to be obligated to babysit something that doesn't affect gameplay, as I didn't sign up to play a pet owner simulator. If they don't lose genetic stability as infants, it'd be really nice to have a pet walk around the ship, and I wouldn't mind passing out on the XP because mature Kubrows/Kavats aren't worth using at all.
