Tennogen skins

I saw in the recent patch they added a bunch of new skins.  Specifically I want the banshee helm but I can't find it anywhere in game.  There are a few weapon skins in the market with the tennogen tag but I can't see anything for banshee besides her usual alert helmets.  

 

Is tennogen a steam only thing or am I misreading the notes or something else?

Tennogen is exclusive to steam save for a few very old items all future items are also likely to be steam only. Tennogen is run through steam workshop now so you need to pay real money so valve can get their cut.

All tennogen is steam only apart from the tennogen profile icons and weapon skins that can be seen in the market without playing warframe through steam.

If you want any of the tennogen stuff that has just released or any others that have been added to the game, you will need to run warframe through steam to be able to buy them.

They are only buyable through steam and for real money, not platinum.

Sad face.

Platinum was attained via real money so that's a rather poor double standard.  Also pass on steam. 99% of the issues I hear clanmates *@##$ing about with crashes and system failures... Well they all use steam.  I'm not saying that's for sure a cause but it's definitely highly correlated.
